To support the achievement of SEB s vision, we are seeking to employ a supervising hydrologist to manage SEB s water resources unit.

This challenging E4 level position would be an exciting career opportunity for an experienced hydrologist, who is looking to move into a management role. The role offers significant autonomy and requires the ability to develop and lead a modern and effective team of hydrologists and hydrographers.

Specific role responsibilities include:

  • provide leadership for and build capability of the Hydrological and Hydrographic Team;
  • set context, direction and clear performance expectations for the Hydrological and Hydrographic team and manage the team s work performance;
  • undertake the lead role in SEB for the provision of professional guidance and authoritative expertise for hydrology and hydrograph; p undertake responsibility for and manage the construction of stream flow and rainfall measurement sites throughout the state of Sarawak;
  • undertake responsibility for and manage data gathering, data management and maintenance of all SEB hydrographic assets throughout the state of Sarawak; and

Candidates should have experience in a technical leadership capacity and a recognized degree in hydrology, water engineering or a related discipline.
