Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser

Coffey International Development in cooperation with the Nossal Institute for Global Health and GTZ International Services is managing the AusAID funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health Program which is an Initiative to assist the Indonesian government to implement the National Making Pregnancy Safer Strategies in selected provinces and districts and improving public administration in the health sector.

We are currently seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser for the Partnership based in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and implementing a Monitoring and Evaluation System for the AIPMNH Program; providing analysis and reporting on program performance and progress towards development goals and objectives

To be successful for this position, you should hold a post graduate research degree or demonstrate evidence of training in advanced research or evaluation design, implementation and management.

You will have substantial experience in developing M&E Systems for programs in resource constrained settings (preferably international); demonstrated ability to breakdown and communicate complex concepts simply with a range of stakeholders in multi-cultural settings as well as an ability to facilitate learning from M&E findings with the AIPMNH teams and other relevant stakeholder and demonstrated experience in development assistance programs involving partnership and capacity building of institutions and individuals in a developing country context.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in working effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds; excellent interpersonal communication and report writing skills; excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken English; demonstrated ability to engage with and build relationships with government agencies; highly effective management skills and demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment; understanding of cross-cutting issues and ability to work according to AusAID policies and principles.
