The role would expect you to manage the day to day running of all local and group applications, hardware and communications in line with group standards to ensure that the business operates smoothly while providing user support to ANZ staff for all software and hardware related issues and keep the business informed on the status of outstanding issues. You would also be required to provide support to ANZ customers as required while also execute the Technology components of the BCP/DRP. Additionally you would be required to maintain DRP site ensuring that all equipment is in good order while also execute DRP rehearsal once a year and support IT Manager in all areas of responsibility as the coverage.

In addition to this you would need to support IT Manager in managing IT related expenditure while assisting in managing IT contracts and Service Level Agreement with external vendors and identify and recommend process improvement ideas / local initiatives to improve the business / operations.

Qualifications
You would be required to possess time management skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment and negotiate internal relationship building. Tertiary Qualifications in a business or IT related field with experience in a systems administration and support environment would be advantageous. Excellent problem solving skills with good aptitude for grasping and mastering new technology in addition to excellent knowledge of various system architectures including hardware and software would be an advantage.
