OPPORTUNITIES – MARINE COACH
Job Description and related Qualification:
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to marine practitioners
- Carry out assurance activities relating to marine activities at worksite Carry out assessment of contractor performed marine activities
- Carry out assessment of BP performed marine activities Review marine operational procedures for proper and consistent implementation
- Advise the regional marine authority of any capability or competency gaps in performance of marine activity
- Maintain functional reporting line to regional marine authority
- Share lessons learned and implement best practice
Essential Criteria and Qualification:
Minimum Qualification:
- Class 1 Master Mariner unlimited or equivalent
- Experience of marine port operations in a supervisory role
- LNG experience in a supervisory role
- Experience of offshore marine operations
Additionally the following experience is highly desirable
- Senior DPO qualifications
- Experience of warranty survey
- Experience of vessel inspection (OVID or CMID)
- Previous experience of working under BP Operational processes and procedures
