Our client is a leading Power Company in Kuwait, now looking for Lead Mechanical Engineer position.
Job Description
- Power Plants system design
- Basic Engineering, sizing calculations
- Review Engineering
- Detail Engineering
- Preparation project Feasibility Report/ Detailed Project Report, Technical Specification, Bid Evaluation.
- Project Appraisal
- Construction Monitoring / Project Management
- Witnessing and evaluation of Performance guarantee tests.
- Co-ordination with client, vendors, construction and start up Team and resolving their issues.
Requirements
- 10 to 20 years of relevant experience with Engineering Consultancy companies/ EPC Contractors / Equipment Suppliers/ Project Developers or Utilities in the Power Sector. Sound knowledge and experience in Design and Engineering of Large Size Combined Cycle Power Plants is essential.
- Experience in design of major Main Plant and Balance of Plant systems for Combined Cycle Power Plant/ Gas Driven Power Plant
- Familiarity with codes & standards
- Ability to work independently and lead the team
- Ability to work in pressure & meet the deadline.
- Good presentation & communication skills – written & oral both.
- Willingness to stay in Kuwait Minimum 1 Year to 2.5 Yrs.
- Project Control Concept – preferably with proficiency in MS-Project / Primavera.
