Job Summary

Involved in EPC & EPF phase 1 execution, involved in FEED activity (value engineering), involved in preparing CAPEX & ITB phase 2, involved in phase 2 process tender, involved in in-house engineering activity (technical note / technical justification) Ensure the Pipeline engineering design, procurement, construction and project completion is completed in compliance with the project objective and contractual requirement i.e. project schedule, cost, HSE, company Standard and procedures.

Responsibility

  • Responsible for Pipeline Engineering design, quality assurance and expertise in accordance with the project deliverables and execution schedule in greenfield project environment.
  • Supervise Contractor’s activities with regards to quality and schedule of the project.
  • Review, comment and approve deliverables produced by EPCI Contractor. The Documents/Deliverables for review/approval include Project Specifications, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluation Reports, Vendor Data and Drawings.
  • Review EPCI Contractor’s Deviation/Concession List for its acceptance or rejection.
  • Attend various meetings, workshops like HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review etc.
  • Ensure EPCI Contractor for engineering works are implemented and completed in accordance with the scope, schedule and other contract requirements with quality of high Standard and integrity.
  • Developing an understanding of the overall plant to enable the assessment of impacts on the overall plant.
  • Responsible for site surveys to validate design for all aspects of the Project execution.
  • Responsible for Monitor EPCI Contractor’s performance for Pipeline Discipline, provide advice and takes necessary actions to achieve Company’s design goals and meet specification requirements.
  • Responsible for Resolve in a timely manner Field pipeline-related issues that arise between the EPCI Contractor, PMT, vendors, and other interfaces.
  • Provide technical support as required on the pre-commissioning activities and trouble-shooting support during commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with Company’s Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct and Project Management System.
  • Responsible for preparing ITB AKM Project Phase 2 for Pipeline scope of work
  • Responsible for being involved in AKM Project tender including LLI for Phase 2

External : Contractor, Subcontractor, Vendor, Third Party Specialist, Government (Local Government, ESDM, SKK, etc.)

Job Specification

Experience: Minimum 8 years as Pipeline Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry

Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical or ocean engineering)
  • Experience in practical application of international standards and codes such as ASME 31.8, B31.4, DNV, ASTM, API & other project standards
  • Experience in design or construction of CRA Pipeline
  • Experience in design or construction of Onshore Pipeline
  • Experience in working with large-scale EPCI contractors.
  • Experience in technical reviews (Pipeline Route, Pipeline Calculation, Specification Datasheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, PFD, P&ID) of large-scale project / complex facilities is essential.
  • Must be able to develop appropriate technical Solutions for specific piping design issues, in accordance with relevant industry or project codes and standards.
  • Has experience as Lead and supervise a team of pipeline engineers and designers
  • Experience must include detailed engineering design, Procurement, construction and Installation of oil and gas facilities
  • Must be able to work with the minimum of supervision and be technically strong.
