UNIT MANAGER — BASIC EDUCATION

The Australian Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an enthusiastic individual with managerial experience in policy development and program management to fill the position of Unit Manager, Basic Education (Access, Performance and Visibility). The Unit Manager will lead and manage the operations of a team to deliver a broad range of activities including delivering DFAT’s school building program, measuring the performance of DFAT’s basic education program, and promoting Australia’s support for education in Indonesia. The officer will need to have extensive experience at a managerial level in policy development and program management, ability to write to the standards of a native English speaker, and high level verbal communication and representation skills. The position will be locally engaged.
