Responsibilities:
You will report to the Marine Manager at Pulau Bukom, Singapore. Your duties include the provision of marine operational advice, operation and control of marine and related activities;  You will  provide advice on marine and tanker related matters; To ensure compliance to Shell’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) requirements, you will perform marine safety audits and conduct safety inspection of vessels calling at Shell terminals; Other responsibilities include maintenance and update of operational and contingency plans and manuals, the operation of Shell marine craft and pollution equipment, mooring and cargo operation of VLCCS (Very Large Crude Carriers) at the Shell single buoy mooring (SBM) and its maintenance, marine emergency response; In addition, you will be required to perform after-hours marine and ship-shore interface standby duty on a rostered basis.

Requirements:
Has a Class I Master Mariner Certificate; Relevant experience in tanker, chemical, gas carrier or pilotage; Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential; Possesses the ability to manage and integrate with others in different functions; Good level of physical fitness is necessary; A competitive remuneration package based on the prevailing conditions, policies and legislation in the country of employment will be offered for this position.
