Rotating Equipment Engineer
Job Description
– System effectiveness study conducts for new project;
– Equipment selection;
– Review of PFD, P&ID, Plot plan layout, structural drawings, piping drawings which are involved with the equipment/package;
– Review of Vendor’s provided package P&ID;
– Supporting other related engineering department by providing engineering input;
– Ensuring that equipment supplier/vendor to provide superior quality product in FEED and Detail design packages within the time frame;
– Bid evaluation and selection of bids;
– Mentoring and guiding junior members in the team;
– Coordination with other departments design groups;
– Management and control of interfaces with other disciplines;
– Developing company’s own standards, format, etc;
– Providing discipline engineering expertise to all design phases;
– Study the suitability of application of new technology;
– Conducting and heading progress meetings;
– Interaction with Client;
Requirements:
Should have design experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detail Engineering of up-stream Oil & Gas Projects. Specialty in rotating equipment and packages(Centrifugal pumps, Reciprocating pumps and metering Pumps and seal less pump, Centrifugal compressors and Reciprocating Compressors, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Hand Operated and Electrically Operated Traveling crane etc
