With our networks throughout the Asian mining and financial community we are involved in small and large projects across the globe in all commodities and mine types.
Reporting to and sharing the same location as the Regional General Manager (Asia), the Operations Manager is a key role within our regional leadership team and you will be responsible for managing and expanding all aspects of our Chinese operations. In particular you will lead an ever expanding multicultural team of professionals with strong experience in China and the region. You will play a key interface between our clients and regional staff and will benefit from our positive reputation in the region. You’ll have autonomy over the strategic development of the office and play a key role in continuing the growth of the office by accessing new markets in China.
This is a perfect opportunity for a hard-working and motivated mining professional looking to broaden their experience and fast track their career development and management skills. You will be provided with strong leadership and mentoring from our other local regional leaders and will gain an appreciation for the Asian business culture. To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in mining engineering and or geology and several years’ experience in a relevant operational or management capacity.
