As Markets Operations Officer, your responsibilities are varied. This being a customer focused role, you will do well to meet and exceed client expectations by maintaining the highest level of service to Treasury Dealers, Counterparty Banks and other Customers. You will ensure the accurate and timely processing of rate input, deal confirmation & settlement of Foreign Exchange/ Money Market/Fixed Incomes and Derivatives transactions, including taking on increased volumes of business as and when required while complying with legal policies, regulations and procedures.

Liaising with Investor Sales Dealers, you will manage CD issued/bought transactions, preparing monthly reports and processing term sheets for the same. In addition to this, you would be required to assist the management in updating data & rating figures and performing STOD and EOD check according to procedures.  You will take responsibility for customer complaints initiating swift action to ensure that the bank is in no way exposed to potential losses. Motivating your team and sharing the workload to ensure targets are met and high level of efficiency is maintained will contribute to your success and subsequent growth in the organisation

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have an extensive knowledge of payments, accounting procedures, and Treasury Products including Foreign Exchange Spot/Forward, Money Markets, Fixed Incomes and other Derivatives products. Exposure to and understanding of TSY operational processes with an awareness of SBV’s foreign exchange related regulations and internal policies and procedures would be mandatory requirements. Strong communication and time management skills, excellent attention to detail with a working knowledge of computers and related software is essential. Experience in working with ANZ Treasury Database and Reporting systems will be to your advantage.
