OTR Global LLC, an international investment research firm, has an immediate opening in Singapore for a reporter that has a strong background in the oil and gas industry with a focus on off shore drilling in the Southeast Asia. Industry and reporting experience in the heavy equipment and mining sectors is a plus.
Industrial Reporter/Analyst
Candidates must have specific experience and up-to-date knowledge in. They should be able to effectively interview a wide variety of industry sources, and have developed contacts. Strong interviewing, writing and critical analytical ability is a must. Relevant educational background or industry experience preferred.
The ideal candidates must have a strong understanding of the industries, capability to work independently, high level of integrity, availability to travel to industry conferences, find their own sources, strong writing ability, understanding of MS Word, Outlook and MS Excel and confidence to know what to do and ask questions when needed.
