BP’s main operation in Indonesia is the Tangguh LNG plant in the Papua Barat province. Tangguh LNG is the first fully-vertically integrated LNG operation in the country, producing gas from Papua Barat offshore and delivering LNG to customers around Asia and the US.

We have an exciting opportunity for motivated people to join DCS (Distributed Control System) Technician team at Tangguh Production team based at Tangguh LNG site working on rotation basis.

As DCS Technician you will be responsible for monitoring plant performance through its DCS operation. This includes all maintenance, lead plant start-up and shutdown activities. You will also provide reports on the efficiency of the DCS performance and be the first point of contact for all safety system functions.

To be eligible to apply, you should:

  • At minimum have graduated with Diploma degree from engineering discipline
  • Have a minimum of 10 years working experience in either LNG Operations or Petrochemical plant – Gas Plant, C02 removal system, Dehydration system, Fractionation/ Distillation especially Aromatic Plant or Ethylene (derivative) Plant. The experience should include minimum 2 years of working as DCS Operator
  • Be able to demonstrate positive attitude and team work
