Custom and Formalities Officer

Responsible to prepare and manage all logistics support services in relation to the Master list approval, customs, and explosive permits; as well as fuel and water supply to support Santos Indonesia business activities and ensure the processes are within schedule, budget and comply to prevailing regulations.

Only the very best will be considered for the position, applicants must possess the following requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor s Degree in any disciplines
  • 5+ years experience in Oil and Gas Logistics and Formalities
  • Customs Expertise Certification
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Duties among others are:

  • Prepared all required master list supporting documents and monitor master list approval process ensure all approval can be obtained within schedule and comply with regulations
  • Liaise with BPMIGAS, MIGAS, Customs, and Ministry of Commerce related to permit and master list
  • Prepare and raise the requisition for fuel / water supply as well as keep closely monitor the progress ensure meet the schedule as planned and approved budget
  • Monitor and keep tracking the request and usage of fuel / water which already delivered to end user
  • Coordinate and liaise with Permit Agency in order to obtain approval for explosive permit, explosive used permit, explosive deposit permit and explosive re-export permit and ensure the approval is obtained in timely manner
  • Prepare all necessary documents related to explosive permit and keep closely monitor the approval progress
  • Monitor explosive delivery in and out process by coordinating with Permit Agency and ensure the materials are delivered as per schedule and safe
  • Coordinate and liaise with explosive storage contractor to place the explosive deposit in storage and ensure it deposit in safely manner as per regulations

Community Development Coordinator

To coordinate, facilitate, develop and monitor community development programs for communities at district and village levels in order to maintain good and sound relationship between Santos and targeted communities to develop trust and good corporate image in Indonesia

Only the very best will be considered for the position, applicants must possess the following requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree majoring in Community Development, Conflict Resolution from a reputable University. Master s Degree is an advantage
  • 5+ years experience as a Community Liaison and or Community Development
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to clearly identify problems and manage critical issues through good communication and liaison with all related parties
  • Ability to work in tight time constraints and in a multidiscipline team environment

Duties among others are:

  • Identify community needs
  • Develop community- based programs that address livelihood needs
  • Develop community-based programs in accordance with the of community development principles, and BPMIGAS relevant regulations as well as Santos community development objectives and approved budget
  • Monitor the program implementation
  • Provide advice and input to communities with regards to any issues and concerns that arise in the program implementation
  • Support Community Relations Coordinator by sharing information and provide views, advice and alternative problem solving for anticipating any possible local conflicts within the communities in the field that can affect Community Development program and Corporate image
  • Encourage relevant stakeholders (District Offices and Partners) to conduct proper and written program evaluation in order to see and learn the impact of the program on the communities for Santos CD program improvement in the future
